Humans have been consuming Food Grade DE for decades. It is mixed into grains, as well as added to toothpaste, beverages and medicines.

To create a natural facial mask, mix DE and water or facial oil to make a paste. Apply with a circular motion until face is covered. Leave on 5 to 20 minutes then wash off with warm water.

Mix DE with a small amount of water to form a paste to polish silver and clean jewelry.

DE is a natural deodorizer for garbage cans, refrigerators and foot wear. Leave a thin layer on carpets for a minimum of six hours before vacuuming to remove pet odors.

Mix a handful of DE with kitty litter. Not only does it deodorize, it also absorbs moisture.

DE keeps kennel areas dry and odor free. Lightly dust pets’ bedding for a flea barrier, DE will also absorb oils, dirt and smells.

DE is used inside and outside the home as a barrier against crawling insects.

To enhance the condition of house plant sol, use 1/4 DE to 3/4 soil. Also, use as a soil conditioner in gardens, it helps break up clay and retain moisture in light or sandy soil, experiment with ratio mixture for your soil type.
